TRADITIONAL PORTRAITS

For this particular portrait type, I require high-quality photographs to ensure fur direction, markings, eye colour, and nostril placements in particular. Without these, the resemblance may be less than desirable.

I will always aim to work with what you have available, especially in circumstances where your pet may no longer be with you, however, if possible, I ask for unedited, filter-free photographs that have not been compressed or uploaded to social media channels.

While I can combine two photographs, if purchasing multiple pets within one final pet portrait, it would be best if there are no harsh shadowing to allow for more consistency in highlights and shadows.

Your portrait will be drawn as in your photograph. I can enhance eyes and markings with additional photographs, however, I can not alter your pet's expression.

If you wish for your pet to have a collar, harness, or clothing removed or added, I will require photographs for reference to any area that may be covered in your chosen portrait photograph.

CHARACTER PORTRAITS

I can draw your pet as almost anything your imagination desires with some exceptions. Copyrighted images cannot be replicated, in cases where a specific character or logo is requested, we can discuss alternatives that make this more relevant to your pet.

Within the character pet portrait, I will draw your pet once again by hand. There is no photo manipulation or apps used to create a drawing of your pet.

DIGITAL PORTRAITS

I have categorised several digital styles together as this holds multiple options for multiple budgets. From a simple line drawing of your pet to a complete drawing of your pet in the drawing style of the Character Pet portrait minus the character, I am sure you can find something of interest. If not, we can discuss your ideas and work towards your ideal digital pet portrait.

RAINBOW BRIDGE

Rainbow Bridge portraits are one of my favourites to draw, however, they also hold sadness. Losing a pet is a pain that unless you have experienced it yourself, is hard to describe. It is always my aim to capture your pet in a beautiful way that allows you to remember them for years to come. While my designs centre around the rainbow bridge, I can also create a unique portrait celebrating your pet's life without this addition.

I know it can be uncomfortable and painful to discuss the loss of your pet, as such, I am very respectful and ask for no more details than you wish to share on their passing. If you do wish to discuss their personalities or share stories I am also very open to listening and learning more about them.

In all Pet Portraits, regardless of style, I will send updated pictures to ensure you are happy with the progress. With traditional work, it is harder and indeed sometimes impossible to revert changes so this is essential. While it is easier to do this on a chat client, I can also send these by email if preferred.
