Who is Beanie Bow Wow?

I'm Nicola or as most know me, Nikki. I answer to either and everything in between.

Art has always been my main hobby, the one thing I enjoyed doing since a very young age and was my main focus throughout my education.

I studied Multimedia Design and Production, which included web, graphic and 3d design, however, after graduating, I dropped my creativity for the world of online advertisement and marketing campaigns.

January 2018 saw a Boston Terrier named Izzy (a.k.a Beanie), enter my life, and with her, a new opportunity arose. Instagram was a way to share our life together with others and has now opened the door to a new adventure.

A year later, another little Boston, Ella, joined our family and with this, our Instagram following grew further.

This places us here, now.. a part of the online retail world. Offering pet owners worldwide the opportunity to forever capture their fur-baby in their very own portrait.

I draw, paint and photograph all that you will find on Beanie Bow Wow myself, from my home in Scotland, where I live with Izzy, Ella, Fitz, my Ragdoll/Maine Coon Cross kitty and my web developer, fiance.

To me, like so many of you, my dogs are more than just that, they are my world. Day to day, they are involved in as much as possible and I love seeing them happy.

When I started creating portraits, It was not my intention to open a business. I did so to combine my two main passions, animals and art. Drawing for friends and family.

As the demand grew, I felt it the next logical step and I can now say, it is forming a new career for me, which I love.
