All portraits are hand-drawn by me and me alone, therefore, depending on demand this may take up to 3 weeks for your order to be dispatched. I will notify you of estimated dispatch date as soon as possible.
If you require your order sooner, please let me know and I will try my best to achieve this date.
I will always try to accept orders, however, at some periods, such as Christmas, I may need to turn away commissions if I simply do not feel I will achieve a postal or date deadline.
Because of the nature of my products, unless they arrive damaged or defective I cannot offer a refund.
Standard shipping - UK
DHL Next Day Delivery for UK goods. - £7.
Items can be sent by Royal mail if preferred, at a cost of £7 per portrait.
Standard shipping - Outwith UK
If purchasing from outside the UK. This will be delivered by your normal postal service, unless otherwise stated. I would advise a recorded/special delivery option is purchased, as loss of goods will not be covered unless protection is chosen. Price will be provided at time of purchase.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Purchasing direct.
PayPal - I do not receive your credit card information from paypal, solely your name, address and transaction ID.
Etsy - Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
I work from photographs of your pets, as such, I require a high-quality image to ensure likeness. These photographs should not be modified or have filters applied.
In the sad case of a deceased pet or availability of a higher quality photograph being unavailable, I am happy to discuss what can be done to provide you with the best portrait I can from that supplied.
A standard commission will take approx 14 hours start to finish and can take up to 3-4 weeks to be complete, depending on demand and backorders.
A portrait will include head and chest of one pet and can include flowers, coloured backdrops or many other available options. This can be discussed before or after purchasing. As extra work and time are involved in some additions, a portrait of this type may include an additional cost and will be created on a special commission basis.
The process of Portraits
Once purchased, we will discuss how involved you wish to be in the portrait process. Regular updates can be provided, including, rough sketch, outline, colour application (if applicable) and completed piece. If at any point you are not satisfied with your portrait, I will be happy to change where possible or start over, if necessary. Once the final portrait has been accepted, no refund will be offered.
Payment of Portrait
If you prefer to pay through Etsy, I can create a customised listing specifically for you. You can then proceed to check out your order from their website. Alternatively, we can arrange payment through Paypal.
Copyright of the work
I retain copyright on all portraits and you may not copy or reproduce this in any form without my written consent for commercial purpose. Your portrait can be copied, scanned or photographed for your personal use.
Portraits, unless otherwise agreed are for individual commissions. If you would like a quote for commercial use, please contact me to discuss.
